Rafael Grande

Dr. Rafael Grande is a researcher at the University of São Paulo, São Carlos School of Engineering, Department of Materials Engineering. He leads the FAPESP Young Investigator project INTERFIBRAS, focused on sustainable polymers, bio-based materials,  and renewable building blocks. Before joining USP, he worked for three years as a researcher at Aalto University, Finland, developing research on cellulose-based materials, interfaces, and bio-based systems.
